BECCA Cosmetics at Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week Spring 2012
BECCA Cosmetics are commonly known for their nude, natural look but New York’s Fashion Week was their time to step out and show off! The BECCA Smoky Eye is intense. BECCA Cosmetics National Makeup Artist Jo Levy used false lashes on the top and bottom of the model’s eyes and combined shadows from the BECCA Lost Weekend and Prairie Moon Palettes to give rich depth in dazzling charcoals. Levy also used the BECCA Cosmetics Automatic Eye Pencil in Majorca to line the top and bottom of the models’ eyes. The effect was dramatic and worked perfectly with Venexiana’s chic and sparkling 1930′s inspired line.
The eyes were not the only place BECCA Cosmetics chose to shine. Banking on their ability to create neutral nudes they drew upon a subtle look for the lips and cheeks. Keeping the focus on the eyes, Levy used BECCA Cosmetics Sheer Tint Lip Colour in Estellaon the model’s lips and Lip & Cheek Crème in Petal on their cheeks. The BECCA Cosmetics Compact Concealers and Stick Foundations created a flawlessly smooth backdrop to work on.
