Lookbook: Maybelline ExpertWear Quad, “Chai Latte,” Swatches
At Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week, we saw the look that Maybelline New York created for the models at the Cynthia Rowley Fall 2011 Show. It was a sultry smokey eye that was chic, but not overdone, and it was created using Maybelline’s ExpertWear Quad in Chai Latte. This quad gives you the perfect blend of neutrals and modern metallics, and each shade has fantastic pigmentation to it. Maybelline has a very positive reputation with me for great drugstore eyeshadow. In fact, I almost never buy other drugstore eyeshadow brands (besides Wet n Wild) because I know I can always count on Maybelline eyeshadow products to be smooth, pigmented, and long-lasting.
Every shade in this quad is rich in color, and applied smoothly, but I especially love the bronze shade (upper right corner). It was by far the most pigmented of the four, and absolutely shines. Stunning!
